Project cars game drift

I often drive the Caterham R and I think it's rather tail happy while still being controllable. So I'd think it's appropriate. The following user likes this Post: Tomcul. Nissan Silvia S You have to flick them in early and feather the throttle through. Once I got the hang of it I almost found it metatative haha. Originally Posted by BellCurve. I don't have a steering wheel or anything like that, all I would use is a wired Xbox controller. Showing 1 - 14 of 14 comments. Nuff raspact na ti ja dred man Derohk View Profile View Posts. BMW 1 series is awesome for drifting. Last edited by Shiva, the Destroyer of Worlds ; 8 May, pm. Originally posted by LordVenX :. Yes thats true! PC has rain and night TBH if drifting is all you wanna do then I'd go with AC which also has mods so there's that as customization.

Making you feel like a pro driver and racing to the podium. I'm sure it's possible to drift with the right setup changes as it is irl but the game wasn't designed TO drift. If you can it's more of a bi-product of the physics doing what they're supposed to. Originally Posted by Mad Al. IMHO an acceptable workaround for an arcade game.. The following 2 users likes this Post: hkraft , Zebaldus. Originally Posted by Invincible. Also, there isn't some thing like "drift physics". If it works correctly, you wouldn't need a separate set of physics in the game. You can't have that IRL either. For better control of the drifts, especially on this car, I'd recommend dropping the rear wheel pressure to 0,75 - 0,80 bar.

That's what the real drift cars run for drifting too. Originally Posted by havocc. So Pcars should become an arcade game with unreal physics because you can't drift? Drifting has so far worked fine for me, these were all done at some point just as a proof of concept, just jumped in the cars and drove, nothing specially set up for these tests: The Radbul though is just a pretty damn insane machine and benefits from some setup adjustments as well.

It enables catching and holding massive angle drifts due to the power and massive steering lock, but it's hard to control the power delivery of a car this powerful. Even Mad Mike himself says it's really difficult to drive, and he drives it for a living.

The car gets a lot easier if you close the wastegate no turbo, but you still have like bhp anyway because it's easier to control the power delivery. Suspension Calculator now available on the P.
